The latest statement from Manchester United reads: "Casemiro will be sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained in the Carabao Cup fourth round match against Newcastle. The Brazilian midfielder was forced to leave the pitch at halftime. Doctors have assessed that Casemiro has a muscle strain that will keep him out of action for several weeks."
Earlier, manager Ten Hag also confirmed that Casemiro would definitely not be able to participate in the away match against Fulham this weekend.
