'Red Rain' surpasses 650 billion VND in revenue

Over the past 3 days of the weekend, the movie Red Rain earned more than 48.4 billion VND, equivalent to 504,155 tickets sold. This achievement helped the work of director Dang Thai Huyen reach a total revenue of 653 billion VND to date.

It can be seen that, despite the appearance of new "competitors", the works are still not strong enough to compete with Red Rain , even though the film has been in theaters for more than 20 days.

Currently, although the appeal of Red Rain has decreased compared to before, it still leads the box office. On September 15 alone, this work earned more than 4 billion VND. With the current revenue growth rate, many people believe that the film reaching the 700 billion VND mark is entirely possible.

The Conjuring: Weekend Rituals grossed over 22 billion VND in the last 3 days of the weekend. This is the film that surprised the Vietnamese box office when its revenue surpassed the previous parts (only a few billion VND).

According to Box Office Vietnam, Red Rain has created a positive signal for the box office. Other films have more or less resonated, typically Get Rich with Ghosts: Diamond War with 8.6 billion VND in 3 days of the weekend (currently approaching the 100 billion VND mark). Meanwhile, the weekend revenue of Bride Contract also reached more than 8.1 billion VND. These two films ranked 3rd and 4th respectively at the Vietnamese box office.

Meanwhile, the film Ghost Bride only earned about 510 million VND after 3 days of the weekend, while the film Co choi co chiu earned 78 million VND. The two works are assessed to have quite modest revenue, difficult to stand out when the market currently has many strong competitors.

Next week, Sky Deathmatch with Thai Hoa and Kaity Nguyen will officially debut.
