Ta Xua is located on the border between Yen Bai and Son La provinces, about 200 km from Hanoi . Ta Xua is truly captivating with its swirling clouds and vast green valleys. Sitting in Ta Xua in the early morning, enjoying coffee and chasing the clouds is an experience many people enjoy.
The best time to visit Ta Xua is from December to March of the following year. This is the season when tourists are most likely to encounter the fluffy white sea of clouds. These seas of clouds stretch out, are dense, and overlap in layers.

The population of Ta Xua is mainly of the Mong and Dao ethnic groups. The people here mainly live by cultivating rice and corn, raising livestock, and tourism.

You can use various means of transportation to get to Ta Xua, such as motorbikes, private cars, buses, and tour buses. From Hanoi, head towards Son Tay, cross Trung Ha bridge, then at Thu Cuc intersection follow National Highway 32, turn right towards Phu Yen and Bac Yen via National Highway 37. The main road to the center of Ta Xua has been paved with concrete, making travel much easier than before. 16-seater vehicles can reach the summit.
In Ta Xua, you can also rent a motorbike to explore the sights more conveniently. However, if you're not a confident driver, hire a local motorbike taxi because the roads are quite steep, narrow, and have many curves…
