Reuters, citing two unnamed US officials, reported that the US military continued airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen on the evening of January 12.
The latest US attack targeted a Houthi radar station in the capital, Sanaa. US officials said this was a key target in the US military's efforts to deter Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.
The incident occurred a day after dozens of attacks by the US-UK coalition on facilities belonging to the Iranian-backed group.

According to Tass , the Houthi-owned Al Masirah television channel also reported that US and British military aircraft had carried out a new airstrike on Yemen's capital, Sanaa.
He has not yet confirmed his involvement in the latest attack.
Previously, US and British armed forces had conducted air, naval, and submarine attacks against Houthi targets in several cities in Yemen, including Sanaa and Hodeidah.
The U.S. military said it used more than 150 types of ammunition to strike 60 targets at 28 Houthi locations.
The Pentagon said the U.S.-British strike had "undermined the Houthi's ability to carry out missile and drone attacks."
US President Joe Biden stated that the attacks were carried out in response to “unprecedented Houthi attacks” in the Red Sea.
The White House said that since the Israel-Hamas conflict erupted last October, more than 50 countries have been affected by 27 Houthi attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.
The Houthi side stated that the initial US-British attack killed five fighters, and vowed retaliation, vowing to continue attacking ships, an action they consider to be aimed at supporting Palestinians against Israel.
