The media event "Sunshine on the Mountain" was recently organized by the Vietnam Women's Museum at Bac Ha Secondary and High School, Bac Ha District, Bac Ha Province. The event that took place today (31/10) attracted the participation of more than 600 students and teachers of Bac Ha Secondary and High School. Within the framework of the event, the exchange program "Shining Confidently" took place with the presence of 2 young people from ethnic minorities with their stories of "breaking through prejudices", striving to shine, spreading positive energy among young people and the community.

Within the framework of the event, the exhibition “My Dream” was held by the Vietnam Women’s Museum. The exhibition is about stories and sharing about the journey of women and children in the highlands overcoming gender barriers and mastering themselves through many effective activities of Project 8. In particular, the model “Leaders of Change” was established in schools in Lao Cai, Gia Lai, Dien Bien, Quang Binh and many other localities across the country…
A picture of the reality, barriers, dreams and aspirations of ethnic minority students at Bac Ha Secondary and High School (Bac Ha District, Lao Cai) and Phan Boi Chau Secondary School (Chu Puh District, Lao Cai Province). Gia Lai) in the exhibition carries a strong message, calling for solidarity with women and children of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the journey to eliminate gender barriers to affirm their position in family and society.
Through the images and stories in the exhibition, the public can see that Project 8 has begun to bring positive impacts to the lives of women and children in ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, and remote areas in particular. At the same time, they can strongly feel the profound changes in the awareness, thoughts and actions of women from the family to society in general.
