The Tao Ngo road winds its way from Long Son Pagoda up Mount Sam.

Located on the slopes of Mount Sam, Hang Pagoda boasts ancient Buddhist architecture, attracting many tourists and Buddhists who come to admire the scenery, make pilgrimages, and pray for blessings.

At the foot of Mount Sam lies a complex of numerous temples and pagodas, among which the Lady of the Land Shrine is a famous historical site, attracting millions of visitors every year for worship.

Mount Sam is 237 meters high and has a circumference of about 5 kilometers. From a distance, the mountain looks like a sea cucumber crawling across a vast plain.

On Mount Sam, there is the Victoria Mount Sam Lodge hotel.
On a weekend morning, we had the opportunity to visit Mount Sam to pay respects to the Goddess of the Land, explore the Thoai Ngoc Hau Mausoleum, and then travel along the Tao Ngo road to conquer the summit. The Mount Sam area boasts many ancient temple complexes, attracting numerous visitors for sightseeing and worship. From the foot of the mountain, visitors can walk or drive all the way to the summit. Along the Tao Ngo road, there are many winding sections that follow the cliffs and are surrounded by lush green forests.
Early in the morning, the Tao Ngo route is bustling with locals exercising as they ascend and descend the mountain. Many students also join together to conquer the peak to admire the scenery and breathe in the fresh air. Reaching the sandstone platform – where the Goddess resides – visitors can gaze out over the Seven Mountains and admire the vast rice fields, like a picturesque landscape painting.
