* On the morning of February 15th, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to hear feedback from public opinion and the press; and the results of organizing the Lunar New Year (Tet) celebration in the province. Following the traditional Tet celebration, which was assessed as warm, safe, and joyful, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Thai Thanh Quy, requested that all levels, sectors, and units immediately focus on their work and not allow the mindset of celebrating Tet and traveling to linger.

* On the afternoon of February 15th, the first working day after the Lunar New Year, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the regular citizen reception session for February 2024.

* On the afternoon of February 15th, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - inspected the observance of administrative discipline and order at the Nghe An Provincial Public Administrative Service Center.

* On the morning of February 15th, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council visited the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site to hold a ceremony of laying flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and planting trees at the Hoang Thi Loan Tomb Historical Site. On the same day, at the Nam Dan Bara Headworks Management Station, the Provincial Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc coordinated the launch of the "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" in the Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

* On the morning of February 15th (the 6th day of the first lunar month), the Vinh City Labor Union coordinated the giving of lucky money to workers on the first working day of the new year. This activity contributed to motivating union members and workers to strive in labor and production, and to share with businesses, creating a joyful and enthusiastic working atmosphere at the beginning of the year.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam encourages US businesses to expand investment, especially in high-tech, innovation, and semiconductor industries.

* Nearly 1,000 tons of waste are generated daily in Vinh City during the Lunar New Year holiday. This figure is three times higher than on normal days, therefore, sanitation workers in Vinh City have to collect garbage throughout the holiday to ensure the streets are clean and beautiful for people to enjoy the New Year celebrations.
