The Government promulgates a Decree on management of foreign information activities.
This Decree regulates the management of foreign information activities; Responsibilities of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities (hereinafter referred to as Provincial People's Committees) in the management and implementation of activities foreign affairs information.
Article 2. Subject of application

Article 3. Principles of foreign information activities

Article 4. State management of foreign information
1. The Government unified state management of foreign information activities.

d) The Provincial People's Committee manages the state management of foreign information activities in the locality.
2. Contents of state management of foreign information:

Article 5. Funding for foreign information activities

3. Information promoting Vietnam's image is provided through the following forms:
a) Publications in Vietnamese and foreign languages.
b) Events held in Vietnam and abroad.
c) Press products of mass media.
d) Events organized by Vietnamese Cultural Centers abroad.
d) Products of foreign news agencies, newspapers, and media companies.
e) Foreign affairs and international cooperation activities of agencies, organizations and individuals.
4. Providing information to promote Vietnam's image in any form must comply with the laws of Vietnam and the host country's laws.
Article 9. Providing information on world situations to Vietnam
1. 2.
