Having dedicated 33 years to Red Cross work, Mr. Tran Xuan Phong is not only a direct participant but also a core figure in organizing, leading, and spreading the humanitarian movement within the organization and the community.

Sharing his motivation for long-term commitment to humanitarian work, Phong said: "Love for humanity is the greatest driving force that helps us overcome difficulties and bring practical value to the community."
It is from this mindset that, despite his busy professional schedule, Mr. Phong always dedicates time and effort to charitable activities. He clearly understands that those working in humanitarian aid not only need responsibility but also a compassionate heart, knowing how to empathize and share with those in need. Therefore, in every movement, he always sets a good example and takes the lead, while also proactively promoting and encouraging officials and employees in his agency to actively participate in charitable activities, providing timely support to members and people in need.
As Chairman of the Red Cross Society of the People's Procuracy of Lao Cai Province, Mr. Tran Xuan Phong has clearly demonstrated his dynamic and creative role in initiating and organizing movements within the unit, while actively participating in major campaigns launched by the Provincial Red Cross Society. Over the past five years, along with more than 60 members, Mr. Phong has organized and participated in many practical humanitarian activities, contributing to building a stronger Red Cross organization and becoming a shining example in the province's Red Cross movement.
Through annual programs such as "Tet for the Poor and Victims of Agent Orange," the Red Cross Society of the Provincial People's Procuracy has organized many meaningful Tet gift-giving events in remote and disadvantaged communes.
Personally, over the past 5 years, Mr. Phong has mobilized and directly contributed 100 million VND, distributed 250 Tet gifts to poor households; supported 5 poor children receiving treatment at the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital of Lao Cai province with 5 million VND; and donated 84 warm jackets to students of Bat Xat No. 1 High School with a total value of over 16 million VND.
The Red Cross Society of the Provincial People's Procuracy, in coordination with the Youth Union of the agency, organized the cooking of 600 charitable porridge meals for patients at the Provincial General Hospital; and in coordination with the agency's Trade Union and the Party Committee of Khanh Yen commune, installed 70 solar-powered streetlights worth over 100 million VND, contributing to illuminating rural roads and ensuring security and daily life for the people.
In addition, Phong's family also donated 45 million VND to install street lighting in Group 30, Bac Cuong Ward, Cam Duong Commune.

In particular, following the severe impact of Typhoon No. 3 in 2024, Mr. Tran Xuan Phong's family and other benefactors promptly provided 500 gift packages, worth over 200 million VND, helping people and students in the disaster-stricken area to quickly stabilize their lives and giving them renewed faith and strength to overcome difficulties.
Implementing the "Each agency, each individual is associated with a humanitarian cause" movement, Mr. Phong proactively mobilized philanthropists; coordinating with two secondary schools in Muong Khuong and Khanh Yen communes, Lao Cai province, to provide 28.8 million VND in support to students with particularly difficult circumstances, and also donated a laptop worth 6.5 million VND to help them have better learning conditions.
