A noisy property dispute
In the three months since the death of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, internal conflicts have arisen within his family. Hong Loan, the late artist's daughter, expressed her frustration at being unaware of and not involved in many issues related to funeral media contracts and tomb construction. In videos shared on social media, Hong Loan consistently stated that she was also unaware of the funeral donations received.
Furthermore, Hong Loan stated that she is constantly being told she is adopted, while she is the only legally recognized child of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh on paper. "On the day my father passed away, they labeled me as his adopted child. Now, if you want to know if I'm adopted or his biological child, invite Uncle Bay (Vu Linh's younger brother) to take a DNA test with me; I'm ready to do that," she said.

Artist Vu Luan (adopted son of artist Vu Linh) also expressed his outrage when criticized for " bringing media coverage to the funeral of the late artist Vu Linh to profit on his personal YouTube channel." This incident prompted the artist to issue a clarification.
Meritorious Artist Vu Luan stated that he, Hong Loan, and Binh Tinh were unaware of the media contract that Hong Phuong had signed. Hong Phuong also provided an explanation, explaining that the contract was signed to protect the image and information related to the funeral of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, and that there was no intention to use it for business or profit.
Hong Phuong affirmed that all revenue from the signed contract would be given to Ms. Kim Nga (who has taken care of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh for over 10 years) to be used for incense burning, offerings, and grave maintenance.

Colleagues speak out
Amidst the controversy, Kim Tu Long spoke up in defense of Hong Loan, asserting that the house left to her by the late artist Vu Linh was hers.
"The house, the property legally, still belongs to Hong Loan. No one has the right to come here and overturn the situation. Everyone, things are as they are; everything belongs to Hong Loan. Whether she allows them to stay or not is her right. We should only help her family reunite and live in harmony so that Uncle Nam can be happy in the afterlife," he said.
However, this very fact led to mixed reactions from Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, who was accused of not being directly involved. He faced backlash for speaking about the family's strained relationship regarding the "king of Cai Luong's" assets.
Later, the male artist had to speak out to clarify. Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long said he supports Vu Linh's daughter, but hopes the family will work together in a spirit of harmony. He only hopes Hong Loan will remain calm and always stand by Vu Linh's daughter, but at the moment he is not judging who is right or wrong in the property dispute.

The actions of those involved.
Amidst the controversy, Hong Loan asserted that she had no ambition to seize everything but only wanted to protect her father's inherited property. As everyone knows, my family and I are currently being attacked on social media, with malicious and untrue statements being spread," she said.

Vu Luan, Binh Tinh, and Hong Loan will always be your beloved children. I will do everything to protect your name. As for those wicked people who used various schemes to sow discord between father and son, let them pay the price with their conscience and with the law," he wrote.
