Located in Gia Lai province, which is considered to have the best wind speeds in the country, the Cho Long wind power plant is the second largest wind power project in Vietnam as of 2023. The project commenced commercial operation in 2023.

The Yang Trung wind power plant project, invested by Yang Trung Wind Power Joint Stock Company, has a capacity of 145 MW, covers an area of 67.95 hectares, and has a total estimated investment of VND 6,246 billion, with an estimated commercial output of 488,624 MWh/year.
Along with Cho Long, the Yang Trung wind power plant is one of the wind power clusters with a total generating capacity of up to 300 MW, contributing nearly 1 million MWh/year to the national power grid.
