(NLĐO) - In Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province, tourists can immerse themselves in the unique activity "Making banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) - Returning to Tet of the past," only available at Champa Island Nha Trang.


According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, tourism businesses in Nha Trang invested in many programs to celebrate the spring festival and welcome the New Year, such as: VinWonders Nha Trang with a tulip festival featuring 15,000 brightly colored flowers, a spring fair, folk games, and 20 food stalls from the three regions of Vietnam; Yangbay Tourist Park invested in a 3-hectare flower garden for visitors to enjoy and take photos during the Tet season.

Particularly at Champa Island Nha Trang tourist area, the "Cooking Tet cakes, returning to the Tet of the past" program is held on the second day of Tet with spring dances, calligraphy writing, lucky money giving, animal circus, folk games, outdoor sports , etc.

The "Making Banh Tet - Returning to the Tet of Yesteryear" activity is an opportunity for everyone to reminisce about beautiful memories of the traditional Tet holiday, exchange good wishes, and enjoy warm moments of reunion with family and friends.

The "Making Tet Cakes" event, organized annually by Champa Island in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, will take place on January 25th (the 26th day of the lunar calendar) at 3:30 PM at Chandra Walking Street in 2025. Participants can collect their wrapped cakes at Chandra Walking Street at 8:00 AM on January 26th (the 27th day of the lunar calendar).

Visitors can participate in the "Making Tet Cakes" event for only 199,000 VND per person. The ticket price includes ingredients and the cake-making experience, street food, entertainment, participation in folk games, and a movie screening.

Additionally, for visitors participating in recreational activities, enjoying street food, or watching movies, the entrance fee is 100,000 VND per person.
