Ho Chi Minh City musician returns to his roots

On September 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association visited and offered flowers and incense at the Ap Bac relic site and the Rach Gam - Xoai Mut historical relic site in Dong Thap province.

This is one of the contents of the 2025 trip to the source, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association from September 12 to September 14, 2025, for many generations of musicians, singers, and members of the Association to participate. The delegation of musicians and singers from Ho Chi Minh City offered incense and flowers at the Ap Bac relic site, visited the Iron and Steel Squad Monument, visited the tombs of three People's Armed Forces Heroes: Nguyen Van Dung, Do Van Trach, Le Van Toan; offered incense and flowers at the Rach Gam - Xoai Mut historical relic site, visited the wharf, Xeo Quyt historical relic site, Nam Phuong Linh Tu Temple cultural and historical relic site...

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited the Temple of National Hero Truong Dinh and the Royal Mausoleum.

On the evening of September 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association held an art exchange program between musicians and singers from Ho Chi Minh City and artists, musicians and singers from Dong Thap province with the theme Shining Music .

In the program, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association - musician Nguyen Quang Vinh launched the 2025 composition theme including: children's and youth songs I love the City named after Uncle Ho ; songs Learning and following the ideology, style, and morality of Ho Chi Minh and Uncle Ho's soldiers with the theme Uncle Ho's words in our hearts ; composing instrumental and choral works praising Uncle Ho's soldiers, the development of Ho Chi Minh City, love for the homeland, people, new Ho Chi Minh City, Entering a new era - The era of the country's rise; music theory and criticism articles; songs promoting the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term...

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association organized the admission of new members to build a team to inherit the art of music and promote the tradition of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association.
