Cashless payments have become a habit. Like many consumers, Ms. NK Ngan ( Hanoi ) shared that for the past 5 years, all her transactions for buying vegetables, meat, gasoline, ride-hailing services, etc., have been done via bank transfer, card swiping, or QR code scanning. According to the 2023 consumer payment attitude study conducted by VISA, up to 88% of Vietnamese consumers do not use cash when paying. Cashless payment activities are booming in retail stores, convenience stores, and food services, with two main forms: card payments and contactless payments. According to payment technology experts, the booming trend of cashless payments brings many benefits to consumers, but also creates significant challenges for small-scale businesses. As with many restaurants, foreign customers often use international payment cards, while the store can only accept cash, QR code scanning, or bank transfers. On the other hand, to process payments via POS machines, store owners have to invest a significant amount. Techcombank's SoftPOS helps small businesses reduce costs and optimize management efficiency. With the desire to support store owners, Techcombank announced the launch of its SoftPOS payment solution. For only VND 15,000/month, SoftPOS allows businesses to accept multi-method payments via smartphones/tablets and electronic payment gateways. Specifically, customers only need to install the POS application to accept domestic and international card payments, contactless payments via Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Garmin Pay, and QR code payments. This solution is very suitable for grocery stores, mini-supermarkets, eateries, restaurants, cafes, etc., that need to accept card payments but have not yet invested in specialized equipment. Therefore, when installing ePOS on an Android device (OS 8.1 or higher, with NFC support), store owners can receive payments both inside and outside the store, quickly record incoming cash, and issue electronic receipts immediately upon successful transactions. Furthermore, according to Techcombank, when registering for the Techcombank SoftPOS solution, small business owners also benefit from many other advantages such as managing transactions, staff, counters, and electronic invoices… through the Merchant Portal. Especially, from now until December 31st, Techcombank will waive service usage fees and transaction processing fees for customers.| Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon: For a Superior Vietnam The 3rd Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon opened on the morning of September 20th in Hanoi.
