Standing firm on the front lines
First Lieutenant Ha Van Anh - Team Leader of the Anti-Drug and Crime Team (Tam Quan Nam Border Guard Station, Provincial Border Guard Command) is one of the 10 outstanding young people of the Provincial Armed Forces in 2025 with many outstanding achievements in the fight against crime.
Over the past year, he successfully participated in one major drug trafficking case and one operational plan, arresting two suspects. During the peak period of the 2026 Lunar New Year, he continued to effectively advise on and implement another operational plan, arresting two more violators.

Over 11 years of dedication to the front lines have forged in Lieutenant Ha Van Anh the courage, willpower, and sense of responsibility. Together with his colleagues, he always proactively monitors the area and coordinates closely with other functional forces to effectively combat drug crime.
Sharing his thoughts on his profession, he said: "Whether working on the maritime or land border, I always feel the unwavering support of my colleagues and the trust of the people. That is the motivation for me to continue dedicating myself and contributing to the firm protection of the sovereignty and border security of our Fatherland."
On the training ground, the image of Senior Lieutenant Le Tuan Vu - Company Commander of Company 1 (Battalion 50, Regiment 991, Provincial Military Command) - always closely guiding new recruits through each movement has become familiar. During training, Senior Lieutenant Vu always emphasizes the "hands-on" method, combining theory and practice, helping new recruits quickly grasp the content and master the movements. In addition, he pays special attention to management, understanding the soldiers' morale, and promptly encouraging them to overcome initial awkwardness and feel secure in their work.
In his assigned role, Senior Lieutenant Tran Xuan Dat - Platoon Leader of the Guard and Guard Control Unit (Provincial Military Command), consistently maintains strict duty rosters and military control, ensuring the safety of the unit and assigned targets. In particular, Senior Lieutenant Dat is always considered a "sharpshooter" by his comrades. Proof of this is his outstanding first-place finish at the 2024 Military Shooting Competition for regular troops and militia organized by the Provincial Military Command.
Not only excelling in personal skills training, through practical work experience, Lieutenant Tran Xuan Dat also researched and proposed the initiative "Software to support training and self-learning of radio communication VRH-811S," which won an encouragement award at the Provincial Military Command level. This initiative contributes to improving the quality of training, creating conditions for soldiers to proactively learn and train, meeting the requirements of the mission in the new situation.
Spreading the spirit of dedication
As the Deputy Team Leader of Mass Mobilization (Nhon Chau Border Guard Station), Senior Lieutenant Phan Nguyen Vu is always close to and intimately connected with the people on the island. He frequently visits the area, monitors living conditions, and educates and encourages the people to abide by the law and actively participate in protecting maritime sovereignty and islands.
Sharing his thoughts on his work, Lieutenant Phan Nguyen Vu said: “For us, doing community outreach is not just a duty, but also a matter of sentiment. When we are close to the people and understand them, they will trust and cooperate with the soldiers in maintaining security and protecting the sovereignty of our seas and islands.”

Not only are they professionally competent, but among the 10 outstanding young people of the provincial armed forces in 2025, there are also a number of officers, especially female soldiers, who have shone on the martial arts arena with achievements such as winning gold and silver medals at the unarmed combat sports competition for clubs throughout the army.
Notable examples include Senior Lieutenant Tran Thi My Thuy - Financial Assistant (Finance Department, Provincial Military Command); Senior Lieutenant Tran Thuy Yen Nhi - Cadre Statistics Officer ( Political Department, Provincial Military Command); Captain Pham Thi Xuan Thu - Management Officer (Quy Nhon Port Border Guard Station); and Senior Lieutenant Le Van Thoai - Military Medical Officer (Office of the Provincial Military Command).
To achieve these accomplishments, the young soldiers have made relentless efforts in training, flexibly arranging their professional work, dedicating time to training, improving their physical fitness and competitive skills.
Captain Pham Thi Xuan Thu stated: “As a female soldier, I always strive to excel in both my professional duties and physical training, developing my character and resilience. Participating in training and competitions is not only a passion but also helps me mature and confidently perform my assigned tasks.”
