Artifacts that have stood the test of time.

The provincial museum currently houses many artifacts that "tell" the heroic stories of the people and army of Binh Dinh in the construction and defense of the Fatherland. On the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Dinh, the people of this land of martial arts are even more proud of their patriotic traditions and the courageous sacrifices of their ancestors in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The provincial museum currently houses and displays more than 3,000 artifacts related to the people and military of Binh Dinh during the two wars of resistance against France and the United States. Among these, nearly 2,000 artifacts relate to the resistance war against the US to save the country waged by the people and military of the province.

1. In fulfilling the mission assigned by the Military Commission of Zone V, the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee launched the Spring-Summer 1975 campaign with the motto: "Bold, steadfast, victorious, decisive, rapid, and highly effective…". During this time, the forward-looking Provincial Party Committee directed the Binh Dinh Provincial Propaganda Department to mobilize all forces to urgently print and distribute leaflets, appeals, slogans, and posters for propaganda and mobilization. The Provincial Propaganda Department instructed the forward-looking printing unit to prepare propaganda materials for the day of the province's liberation. The lithographic printing plate "Diagram of the Binh Dinh Victory" was created during this period. At that time, to obtain the necessary lithographic printing equipment, they had to rely on a secret source to go all the way to Da Nang to select and purchase a thin, veinless marble slab to use as the printing plate.

According to instructions, this diagram was pre-printed using lithography, but it had to be kept strictly confidential. Only after the liberation of the entire province could it be reproduced and distributed to all facilities, agencies, and the people throughout the province to disseminate information about the revolutionary forces and the liberation army. The content of the diagram was provided by the Provincial Military Command, and the printing press was located in the Nui Ba base area. Writing and drawing the lithographic printing was very elaborate; the letters had to be written in reverse on paper, then written in reverse on the lithographic surface. The lithographic ink was made from resin oil mixed with fine lamp smoke; this type had to be purchased from the enemy-occupied areas. It took more than half a month to print a large quantity of leaflets, drawings, etc., in preparation for distribution and posting after liberation.

2. The resistance war against the US to save the nation waged by our army and people was extremely heroic and tenacious, but also extremely arduous and fierce; amidst the smoke and fire of war, the sacrifices and patriotic spirit were further highlighted.

In January 1975, the battlefield situation shifted increasingly in our favor. The Politburo directed the preparation of all forces for a general offensive, ready to liberate the South immediately when the opportunity arose. The Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee directed the intensification of propaganda on the ideological front, mobilizing the masses for struggle. Numerous leaflets were printed and distributed to boost the fighting spirit of the army and people in the province. Short, concise leaflets were printed and distributed, containing messages such as: "America's time is up, the revolution is against heaven, Thieu is about to collapse, the opportunity has come, let our people rise up and overthrow Thieu," "The whole country mobilizes, the entire people rise up. Fight until the American troops withdraw completely, ending the war of aggression. Fight until the puppet army and government collapse, overthrow the warmongering traitor Nguyen Van Thieu. Win independence, freedom, peace, food and clothing for all the people," "Hail the victories of our nation ending the war of aggression by American imperialism… Extremely excited and proud, compatriots, let millions unite as one to fight for true peace, true independence, true freedom and democracy, win food, clothing, land, and the right to self-governance for the people…" These were powerful calls to action, encouraging the spirit of the people, launching a mass movement of struggle and uprising to seize power and liberate the entire province on [date]. 3. Following successive victories on the battlefields of Zone V, on March 3, 1975, the Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command issued an order calling on all the army and people in the province to march forward to fight the Americans with the spirit of decisive victory to liberate Binh Dinh province. The order stated: “To all cadres and soldiers of the People's Liberation Armed Forces and the revolutionary forces in the province! Two years have passed since the Paris Agreement was signed. Our people should have been living in peace, freedom, prosperity, and harmony. But the belligerent Nguyen Van Thieu regime, commanded and supplied with money and weapons by the US, has brazenly violated the Agreement, continuing to escalate the war, striving to “pacify” and encroach, aiming to erase all the revolutionary achievements that our army and people have gained with so much blood and years. The blood of our people continues to be shed; villages are still being destroyed; hundreds of thousands of patriots are still imprisoned; husbands, sons, and brothers of the working people are still being pushed into meaningless killings and deaths by the US-Thieu regime; millions of urban and rural workers, in strategic hamlets and villages, are living in misery, suffocation, and suffering. Clearly, the crimes of the US-Thieu regime are as high as mountains, unforgivable by heaven and earth.”

Vietnam and the United States strengthen cooperation in addressing the consequences of war.VTV.vn - On June 22, General Secretary and President To Lam received Acting Secretary of the US Navy Hung Cao.

Faced with this extremely urgent situation, the Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command realized that although the enemy was very stubborn and brutal, it was in a state of defeat, weakness, and desperation. Conversely, the revolutionary forces were developing more strongly than the enemy, and the path to victory for the revolution was firmly in our grasp. The Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command ordered the People's Liberation Armed Forces; cadres, soldiers in the insurgent armed forces, and the people—all—to thoroughly obey the order, seize the opportunity, and launch a fierce, continuous, and widespread attack using three prongs, to completely defeat the enemy in their homeland. The Binh Dinh Provincial Front Command appealed: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom. Let everyone advance with the spirit of decisive victory, bravely charging forward to achieve the greatest victory."
