After the re-establishment of Quang Nam province in 1997, the force of photographers in Quang Nam was gathered from local movement activities. The Photography Association of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association was also formed from here.

In 2003, the association admitted enough photography artists and established a specialized association in Quang Nam. Since then, creative activities in the field of photography have continuously developed, with professional orientation, and have grown stronger in both strength and achievements.

Photographers across the country often remember each other through their famous works. Sometimes, they don’t know each other by sight, but when they mention a work, they immediately remember the author’s name. It is the works that are deeply engraved in the hearts of photography lovers and the public.

From the camera angles of Quang people, heritage frames are also formed, with the main message spreading the unique beauty of the heritage land.

Photographic works create the mark of each artist's life, energizing artists to stick with their passion. In the frame of Hoi An heritage, people remember "Hoi An in memory" by Duong Phu Tam, winning the FIAP International Bronze Medal; female photographer Thai Bich Thuan won the 2012 National Excellent A Prize with the work "Visiting the city on a rainy day"; Mai Thanh Chuong with "Under the rain" won the 2012 National Gold Medal; Le Trong Khang won first prize in the 2014 Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest with the work "Festival night lights"...

This is what contributes to the confidence of Quang Nam photographers when they "bring the bell to strike foreign lands". Photographers are increasingly expanding their topics and areas of creation, applying new technology, creating creative ways of expression... enriching their series of achievements each year.

Up to now, the photography force of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association has gathered 30 photographers, not to mention many people working in amateur photography clubs. In addition, the Central members are present in the locality along with the passionate and dynamic young force. They will nurture and develop the photography movement of Quang Nam, continuing the mission of promoting the cultural values ​​and landscapes of the homeland through the frames.
