"Spider-Man" in the air

The 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi ( Hung Yen ) is entering a critical phase, with time being counted day by day. Closely adhering to the project's timeline, undeterred by sun or rain, the technical team regularly works on power poles hundreds of meters high, suspended in mid-air to perform particularly difficult tasks when erecting poles and pulling wires.

According to a representative of the National Power Transmission Corporation, the 500 kV circuit 3 power line project from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh ) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) always has approximately 8,000-10,000 officials, engineers, workers, and laborers working on the construction site.

Installing the positioning frame for the power line is the final step in completing the spans where the wires have already been strung.

Suspended in mid-air, these "spider-men" are working tirelessly in the harsh weather conditions of Thanh Hoa without any protection.

Workers from the contractor Phuong Hanh Co., Ltd. are inspecting the final items at pole 76 in Nga Giap commune (Nga Son district).

On hot days, workers usually start work at 5:30 a.m. and take turns every 2-3 hours to ensure their health.

The cable-laying teams are professional forces, deployed to Thanh Hoa from various provinces.

Technical workers from the National Power Transmission Corporation are increasing their workforce to install power lines for contractors.

Despite working at high intensity and in harsh weather conditions, the technical workers remained highly optimistic, honored to contribute to this key national project.

Workers from Phuong Hanh Co., Ltd. have completed planting the national flag along the section of the power line passing through Nga Giap (Nga Son).

The 500 kV circuit 3 transmission line in Thanh Hoa province is 131 km long, passing through 11 districts and towns in the province, including 299 tower foundation locations and 137 spans. Currently, 243 steel towers have been erected or are being erected along the transmission line in Thanh Hoa province; 15 spans have been completed and 18 spans are currently being strung.
