*NVT: The Hai Ba Trung District Tax Department (Hanoi) has just issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of VND 161.8 million on Ninh Van Bay Tourism Real Estate Joint Stock Company (stock code: NVT) for making false declarations leading to a shortage of tax payable, but the taxpayer promptly and fully recorded all economic transactions that gave rise to tax obligations in accounting books, invoices, and vouchers.
Regarding business results, in the first 9 months of the year, Ninh Van Bay brought in revenue of 320 billion VND, an increase of nearly 11% over the same period. Due to high costs, the company's after-tax profit was only 25.6 billion VND, a decrease of 20% over the same period.
The State Securities Commission has just issued a decision to administratively sanction Chubb Life Fund Management Company Limited with a total fine of VND 170 million for violations: not ensuring the personnel structure in the internal audit department; not separating personnel between financial investment activities and securities investment fund management activities.
