People's Artist Thanh Tuan hospitalized for emergency treatment.

People's Artist Le Thuy said that artist Thanh Tuan was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. He is currently in a coma and is being closely monitored by doctors at Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

People's Artist Thanh Tuan was rushed to Cho Ray Hospital by his family on the afternoon of March 25th. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, he fell into a coma and was transferred to the intensive care unit for close monitoring.

People's Artist Le Thuy shared that artist Thanh Tuan has a history of serious heart disease. Whenever they perform together, colleagues always look after and support him. Recently, while rehearsing for a show, artist Thanh Tuan complained of fatigue and exhaustion, forcing the performance to be stopped. The female artist confided that she also informed close friends such as People's Artist Minh Vuong, People's Artist Trong Huu... They prayed, hoping he would overcome this critical period.

Artist Thanh Tuan, born in 1948, whose real name is Nguyen Thanh Liem, was born and raised in Quang Ngai . He is a famous Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) artist, a contemporary of Minh Vuong, Le Thuy, My Chau, and Minh Canh. The male artist impressed audiences with many works such as "The Moonlight Catcher," "Smoke and Waves of the Tieu Tuong River," "Nguyen Ba's Sword," "Tay Thi," "Lover on the Battlefield," "This Spring I Won't Return Home," "Remembering Nha Trang," " The Tay Ninh Bus Trip," "The River of My Hometown, " etc. In 2019, Thanh Tuan was awarded the title of People's Artist, along with artist Minh Vuong.

At nearly 80 years old, People's Artist Thanh Tuan's burning love for Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) still motivates him to continue singing for audiences. At the same time, he devotes much of his energy to training and inspiring young artists, hoping to discover new talents for the Cai Luong stage. In a conversation with Thanh Nien newspaper , the artist shared that he always hopes to stay healthy so that he can continue teaching and inspiring young people with his passion for art, helping them gradually inherit the national identity and, especially, preserving Vietnamese Cai Luong.
