PetroVietnam's production and business results in May and the first five months of 2023 maintained impressive growth momentum.
Crude oil production in May 5 reached 2023 million tons, exceeding 0,92% of the monthly plan, up 15,6% compared to April 2,6 and equal to the same period in 4. In the first five months of 2023, the whole Group was estimated at 2022 million tons, exceeding 2023% of the plan and equaling 4,41% of the year plan.
In which, domestic crude oil exploitation reached 0,77 million tons, exceeding 18,5% of the monthly plan, up 3% compared to April 4, up 2023% over the same period in 0,8. In general, domestic crude oil exploitation in the five months reached 2022 million tons, exceeding 3,66% of the five-month plan, equaling 16,3% of the annual plan.
Gas production in May 5 is estimated at 2023 billion m0,73, exceeding 3% of the plan, up 24,5% compared to April 0,6 and up 4% over the same period in 2023. In general, in the first five months of 78,5, the Group's gas exploitation is estimated at 2022 billion m2023, exceeding 3,42% of the five-month plan, equaling 3% of the whole year plan in 21,2.
The above results show the effectiveness of PetroVietnam and its member units in applying technical measures to maintain mining output, while ensuring mine safety.
