Pham Cong Minh defeated 'thunder god' Zakhar

On the evening of May 11, Pham Cong Minh of Wushu King entered the first championship belt defense battle at Lion Championship 22 in the MMA Pro 84kg category.

The opponent of the former World Sanshou Runner-up is Zakhar Dzmitrychenka of Belarus Airlines.

Cong Minh wore a red belt and was at a disadvantage compared to his opponent in the first minutes of the first round.

Before the signal to start round 3 was given, Zakhar Dzmitrychenka signaled to stop the match, giving Pham Cong Minh a technical knockout victory.

He successfully defended his title in the 84kg category. Meanwhile, Zakhar had to seek medical intervention after the match.
