Striving to become a hospital on par with the region and the world

Ngày 12/12, tại thành phố Huế, Bệnh viện Trung ương Huế tổ chức lễ kỷ niệm 130 thành lập. Tham dự có các đồng chí Ủy viên Ban Trung ương Đảng: Phó President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Minister Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan; Provincial Party Secretary Hue Le Truong Luu.

Hue Central Hospital is the first Western medicine hospital in Vietnam, established in 1894 by decree of King Thanh Thai. In 1944, it was officially named Hue Central Hospital. To date, it has completed 130 years of construction and development.

After 130 years of construction and development, the Hospital has a team of highly qualified, dedicated and ethical staff, with 9 People's Doctors, 143 Excellent Doctors, nearly 200 Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, BSCKII and over 1.500 other University and Postgraduate staff. The Hospital is a prestigious practice facility of Universities and Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy nationwide, a center for specialized training, directing and transferring techniques to many lower-level hospitals. Many Professors, Doctors, Level II Specialists, and Resident Doctors have been trained and matured from here to serve all over the country.

The hospital has established 15 centers, 109 clinical and paraclinical departments, 14 functional rooms, is a practical training facility of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and is also a place to welcome many foreign doctors to research and study. After 130 years, Hue Central Hospital has become a trusted address for high-quality care and treatment. Every year, there are over 800.000 patients for medical examination, 180.000 inpatients, and up to 51.000 surgeries.

The unit has achieved great achievements in the fields of organ transplantation (such as heart transplantation with 14 successful cases, kidney transplantation with over 2.000 successful cases, stem cell transplantation, corneal transplantation); hundreds of new techniques have been updated and implemented, the successful treatment of difficult cases always reaches a high rate nationwide. Especially in recent years, the hospital has continuously made many breakthroughs in the fields of high-tech, specialized treatment, becoming one of the major centers to successfully perform the trio of organ transplants "heart, liver, kidney", 100% successful cross-Vietnam heart transplants...

To continuously improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, striving to become a hospital on par with the region and the world. worldMinister Dao Hong Lan requested Hue Central Hospital to focus on the following issues: Implementing Resolution 54 of the Ministry Politic on the construction and development of Thua Thien Hue province to 2030 with a vision to 2045 as the center medical Resolution 8 on Building Thua Thien Hue to be worthy of being one of the centers of Southeast Asia in the period of 2021 - 2025 and vision to 2030.

August 30, 11, Congress khóa XV phê duyệt và ban hành Nghị quyết 175 về việc thành lập thành phố Huế trực thuộc Trung ương, đang đặt ra yêu cầu ngày càng cao đối với ngành Y tế của thành phố, trong đó có sự đóng góp của Bệnh viện Trung ương Huế trong công tác chăm sóc sức khỏe cho người dân TP Huế… Phát triển các kỹ thuật y học tiên tiến, cải tiến chất lượng khám chữa bệnh mọi mặt về trình độ chuyên môn, trang thiết bị hiện đại, tinh thần thái độ phục vụ, kỹ năng giao tiếp ứng xử. Tăng cường huy động và sử dụng hợp lý, hiệu quả các nguồn lực đầu tư. Bên cạnh đó, phải xây dựng đội ngũ cán bộ Bệnh viện Trung ương Huế sáng về y đức, sâu về y lý và giỏi về y thuật, vì sức khỏe nhân dân. Tăng cường đào tạo nhân lực, nâng cao chất lượng đời sống cán bộ nhân viên y tế, thúc đẩy sự đam mê, phát triển chuyên môn và an tâm cống hiến phục vụ người bệnh của cán Ministry of Health bệnh viện. Tập trung triển khai các chương trình dự án để cải thiện nâng cao chất lượng cơ sở vật chất của bệnh viện, trên cơ sở đó tập trung phát triển các hạ tầng công nghệ thông tin, chuyển đổi số trong lĩnh vực y tế. Xây dựng các phần mềm để phục vụ cho công tác hành chính quản lý điều hành, hướng tới bệnh viện thông minh cho người dân.

Đồng thời, đơn vị phải đẩy mạnh cải cách hành chính, đổi mới, cải tiến quy trình, thủ tục hành chính trong mọi lĩnh vực hoạt động. Nâng cao chất lượng quản trị bệnh viện, xây dựng và hoàn thiện các quy chế hoạt động của đơn vị bao gồm từ quản lý khám chữa bệnh, quản lý tài chính, quản lý nhân lực, quản lý hành chính. Nâng cao việc thực hiện các tiêu chí đánh giá sự hài lòng của người bệnh theo tiêu chí của Ministry of Health ban hành. Ngoài ra, bệnh viện phải đẩy mạnh hợp tác quốc tế, chuyển giao kỹ thuật. Tăng cường hỗ trợ y tế, chăm sóc sức khỏe giữa bệnh viện với các nước, các bệnh viện trong khu vực. Đặc biệt, tham gia tích cực vào việc đóng góp cho quá trình hoàn thiện, xây dựng các chính sách của ngành Y tế…

Minister of Health Đào Hồng Lan mong muốn toàn thể đội ngũ thầy thuốc, nhân viên y tế và người lao động của Bệnh viện Trung ương Huế, phát huy truyền thống tốt đẹp của 130 năm xây dựng và trưởng thành với những thành tựu đã đạt được sẽ nỗ lực vượt qua mọi khó khăn, thách thức, đoàn kết, thống nhất, chung sức đồng lòng, phấn đấu hoàn thành xuất sắc nhiệm vụ được Đảng, Nhà nước, Nhân dân và Ministry of Health giao phó, góp phần thực hiện thắng lợi nhiệm vụ chăm sóc, bảo vệ sức khỏe nhân dân trong tình hình mới.

After 130 years of construction and development, Hue Central Hospital has been awarded by the Party and State the title of Labor Hero in the Renovation Period, the First Class Independence Medal (2nd time) and many other noble titles. Notably, in 2024, the Hospital is one of 1 units honored in the program "Glory of Vietnam".
