Korean tourists' reactions to eating rice with pho broth for the first time.

Korean tourists love Vietnamese beef pho so much that they eat the broth with rice.

Jeollanam-do is one of the provinces in South Korea that grants visa-free entry to Vietnamese tourists. Thanks to this policy, many Vietnamese tourists choose it as a destination to explore and experience. Vietnamese restaurants have also become popular in Jeollanam-do province.

Among them, the Vietnamese restaurant "Vi Que" is quite famous, having been a filming location for a Korean reality TV show. It only serves Hanoi-style beef pho as the main dish, along with two side dishes: fried rice and stir-fried water spinach with garlic. The price for a bowl of pho is 10,000 won (approximately 180,000 VND).

A Korean blogger nicknamed Mongshell visited this restaurant and tried all three dishes on the menu.

"I've traveled to Da Nang before, so I was really looking forward to the pho tasting the same as when I ate it in Vietnam. The broth here is very rich and flavorful, simmered with meat for a long time, giving it a slightly sweet taste," Mongshell shared on her personal page.

"The taste of the pho and water spinach is exactly the same as what I ate in Da Nang. It feels like I'm back in Vietnam again," the customer expressed.

After finishing his pho, the male blogger even ordered some white rice to eat with the broth because it was so delicious. Mongshell praised the pho broth for its fragrant, rich flavor, which pairs well with herbs and green onions.

Mongshell claims this restaurant serves the best-tasting pho in Vietnam in Mokpo City.

Social media reviews of this restaurant share that the chef suggested trying the rice with the pho broth, sprinkled with pepper. This way of eating piqued curiosity, and many diners have tried the rice with pho broth here. Most praised it for its easy-to-eat flavor and rich broth, similar to Korean beef stew.
