According to statistics from the independent box office website Box Office Vietnam, Doraemon Movie 44: Nobita and the Adventures into the World of Paintings has proven its appeal since its official release.
The film was given the highest number of screenings, 8,370, with more than 358,000 tickets sold and earning more than 34.4 billion VND.
Combined with the early screening revenue and the official opening revenue from May 23, the film has now surpassed the 110 billion VND revenue mark.

As a film that has been a brand for the past 45 years, and has the advantage of being aimed at the whole family, it is not surprising that the film completely overwhelms the remaining competitors on the box office chart, including a Vietnamese animated film released at the same time , De Men: The Adventure to the Swamp .
Vietnam's first purely Vietnamese 3D animated film ranked 4th on the box office charts last weekend. Specifically, the film earned more than 6.2 billion VND in revenue with nearly 67,000 tickets sold and 1,890 screenings. As of the morning of June 2, the film had a total revenue of nearly 6.6 billion VND.
Last week, the action blockbuster Mission Impossible 8 : Final Retribution starring Tom Cruise was officially released to Vietnamese audiences. The film earned over 15 billion VND in revenue with 130,367 tickets sold and 3,877 screenings.

The number 3 position on the box office revenue chart also belongs to another animated work, Lilo & Stitch live action, with revenue of nearly 9.5 billion VND.
Last week, in the top 10 Vietnamese box office revenue, there were 9 films with revenue exceeding 1 billion VND.
The horror film " Borrowing Souls and Possessing Bodies" grossed nearly 2.4 billion VND.
Yadang: The Three-Faced Flip - a Korean action comedy film that grossed over 1.8 billion VND.
Last week, the box office also welcomed a new Vietnamese film - the horror film Nam Muoi , but its revenue was quite modest, reaching only nearly 1.4 billion VND.
Two Vietnamese films released since the April 30 holiday, Lat mat 8: Vong tay nang and Detective Kien: Ky an khong dau, are still holding strong at the box office.
Currently, the total revenue of Detective Kien: The Headless Case is about 246 billion VND. Flip Side 8: The Sun's Bracelet has a total revenue of 230 billion VND.
This week, Vietnamese box office welcomes a series of new works of many genres.
Notably, the Vietnamese horror film Under the Lake will be released to audiences from June 6.
