The Department of Education and Training of Ung Hoa District speaks out.

On the afternoon of May 20th, a representative from the Department of Education and Training of Ung Hoa district confirmed that the incident occurred at Minh Duc Secondary School on the afternoon of May 11th. The female students appearing in the video are 8th grade students, studying in the same class.

As soon as the school received the information, they resolved the issue and mediated between the students; however, the clip was still leaked on social media afterward.

According to the verification and conclusion of the Department of Education and Training, the incident was not as serious as the video and comments on social media suggested. "There was no act of stripping," the representative affirmed.

The eighth-grade student who was beaten in the video was not injured, suffered no psychological trauma, and is attending school as usual. The students have written statements, apologized to each other, their parents, and their teachers, and promised to change and not repeat the incident.

During the meeting, the parents of the students also agreed on a way to handle the issue through reconciliation and jointly implement educational measures. Currently, the students are attending school as usual.

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training of Ung Hoa District reminded the principal of Minh Duc Secondary School, teachers, and students to be aware of school security and order, and to refrain from filming and posting incomplete information on social media. The Department requested the school and teachers to be more vigilant in managing students to promptly understand their psychological development.

On May 19th, a video circulated on social media showing a female student being beaten by a group of classmates in the classroom. The victim was repeatedly hit in the face and head. According to the victim's relatives, the female student had been assaulted multiple times before. The reason for the beating was that a classmate sitting behind her had teased her, so the victim reported it to the teacher. From that day on, the classmates ganged up to beat her during recess.
