The traditional cuisine of Ca Mau has captivated countless visitors from afar. This year, during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, we invite tourists to visit Ca Mau, the land of melaleuca flowers, enjoy the sweet honey of U Minh Ha, and explore the southernmost point of Vietnam – Ca Mau Cape – to savor its many delicious dishes. This is an exciting destination for those who enjoy discovering local culinary culture.
Shrimp from Ca Mau can be prepared into many delicious dishes.
Cà Mau crabs are considered the best in the country. From a single crab, hundreds of dishes can be prepared, from the simplest like boiled, stir-fried with salt, or stir-fried with tamarind, to the more elaborate crab hotpot, crab salad, crab noodle soup, and even gold-plated crab... once you've tasted them, you'll never forget them.
Sour eel stew with wild vegetables, once a rustic delicacy, has now become a specialty.
Ca Mau also boasts rustic dishes such as grilled snakehead fish and catfish served with salt and chili; or banh xeo (Vietnamese savory pancake) eaten with wild vegetables from U Minh forest, captivating countless diners.
The cuisine of the U Minh forest region beckons visitors to come and enjoy it.
