In response to the critical situation, at exactly 6:00 AM on November 19th, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ba Ngòi Ward held an emergency meeting to assess the situation and immediately implement response plans. Immediately after the meeting, the ward's task forces promptly prepared all necessary rescue equipment, including life jackets, lifebuoys, trucks, and essential supplies, gathering them at the ward's People's Committee headquarters, ready to mobilize to hotspots at any time.
At the same time, Ba Ngòi ward closely coordinated with military units stationed in the area, the Provincial Police, the Ward Police, the Ward Military Command, and the permanent militia forces to mobilize maximum manpower and resources to support the evacuation of residents when necessary.
In residential areas, the ward's public address system continuously broadcasts urgent announcements; mobile propaganda teams use handheld loudspeakers to go to every alley and every house, urging people to proactively move their belongings, prepare food and water, and be ready to evacuate to schools and cultural centers that have been designated as temporary flood shelters.
According to reports, as of 8:30 AM on November 19th, floodwaters were still rising at overflow points in the residential areas of Hoa An, Giai Phong, Tan Hiep, Suoi Mon, Hoa Binh , Thong Nhat, and Tra Son. The leaders of Ba Ngoi ward affirmed that no one would be left behind, with emergency response forces on duty 24/7, absolutely ensuring the safety of people's lives during this prolonged period of heavy rain and flooding.
