A meaningful step in POND'S Vietnam's journey to popularize beauty knowledge for the young generation, helping them recognize and take good care of their skin.
Ben Tre, Vietnam – October 28, 2024 Day – POND'S Vietnam in collaboration with the Red Cross Society successfully organized a series of events “Translating skin language to spread miracles” at Phan Ngoc Tong High School (21/10 day) and Suong Nguyet Anh High School (28/10 day). This is a meaningful step in POND'S Vietnam's journey to popularize beauty knowledge for the young generation, helping them to better recognize and care for their skin.
Attracting nearly 1,000 high school students to participate, the series of events brings you the experience of "listening" to scientifically standard skin, accompanied by a "skin language translation team" consisting of dermatologists and famous KOLs in the beauty industry such as 1st Runner-up Miss Peace Vietnam 2022 Che Nguyen Quynh Chau, Beauty Blogger Chloe Nguyen, Trinh Pham, Call Me Duy, etc.
A series of activities to popularize skin care knowledge and spread the "miracle" of confidence
During the two-day event, students from two high schools in Ben Tre were exposed to scientific knowledge about the skin, as well as simple, easy-to-do care methods at home from three doctors Luong My Hanh, Bich Thuy and Mai Chinh. In particular, the team of experts also worked with POND'S Vietnam to conduct a skin examination at the event, helping students better understand their skin condition to choose the appropriate care method.
In addition to the knowledge sharing, the creatively designed exciting games help skin care information spread easily, creating a joyful and highly interactive atmosphere for the event. Accompanying 1,000 students in this activity are a series of KOLs such as runner-up Che Nguyen Quynh Chau, beauty blogger Chloe Nguyen, Trinh Pham, Call Me Duy, content creators Huong Ly, Tizi, Kha Duy Le, The Bang, Chi Hay Di, Gia Han, Nhat Ha, Te To Te and Thai Thuy Linh - people with strong influence among young people.
With the support of KOLs through many useful activities, young people realize that owning a healthy, bright skin is simple with just small daily care steps. Beauty blogger with more than 1 million followers on platforms - Chloe Nguyen shared: "When I was in school, I never had the opportunity to participate in scientific and useful skin care programs like this, so when I received the invitation from POND'S, I immediately agreed. I hope that after the event, students will not only understand more about their skin but also know how to take care of it properly, to always be confident and radiant in every journey ahead."
A small survey at the event showed that nearly 100% of the participating students admitted that they did not know that their daily habits could unintentionally harm their skin, and that skin care is not complicated. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhu, a 10th grade student at Phan Ngoc Tong High School, shared: "I always thought that skin care meant using a lot of expensive cosmetics, but after the event, I realized that as long as I understood my skin correctly, the steps to take care of it could be very simple but still effective."
In addition to the educational and recreational activities, POND'S and the Red Cross presented 56 gifts of necessities such as rice, seasoning powder, cooking oil, etc. to disadvantaged students at two schools. To encourage their learning spirit and encourage them to maintain healthy skin, POND'S also prepared nearly 800 gifts including backpacks, water bottles, and personal care products such as POND'S facial cleanser, mini perfume spray, and other necessary items, to all students attending the program. The total cost of organizing the event and gifts was over 1 billion VND.
Closing a journey, opening a new one
The talkshow series in Ben Tre marks the end of POND'S Vietnam's "Skin Translator to Spread Miracles" program, but at the same time opens a new journey. There, POND'S Vietnam commits to continue raising awareness about basic skin care for young people, especially students in disadvantaged areas who have little access to suitable skin care products.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Vu Thao, POND'S brand manager, shared: “POND'S always aims to bring quality skin care products, specifically for Vietnamese skin. We believe that only knowledge and science can help children achieve the most natural and healthy beauty. That is why POND'S has carried out many activities related to schools, such as livestream skin examination sessions with doctors, and today is a live exchange session to share knowledge about skin care.”
The event in Ben Tre is an important step for POND'S in the journey of creating community values, not only stopping at external beauty but also spreading confidence, encouraging young people to boldly express themselves and take control of their lives. This journey promises to continue, opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese people across the country to "listen" to their skin and find "miracles" every day.
