In late June and early July, the terraced rice fields shimmer under the gentle sunlight. By September and October, Pu Luong transforms into a golden season as the rice ripens, heavy with grain. All senses are awakened; the golden color blends with the fragrant scent of the new rice, creating a feeling of peace.

Kho Muong village, located deep within the core of the nature reserve, is isolated from other villages and less affected by human activity, thus retaining its original picturesque beauty. The market is held every Thursday and Sunday morning, selling a wide variety of goods, from traditional to modern.
