According to Hy, photos printed from photobooths have more authentic commemorative value than digital photos. They can be kept as part of living space or diary, evoking beautiful memories.

Le Hoang Phuc (21 years old, student at the University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University) said he often takes pictures with his lover at photobooths every month to keep memories.

“This is a great way to preserve the moments and the growth of love,” Phuc said.

Nguyen Thai Ly (21 years old, living in Binh Thanh district) likes taking photos in photobooths because "there will be physical photos to hold". Thai Ly said that nowadays, few people print photos, so physical photos are really precious.

“Taking a photo with a phone, all you have to do is hold up the camera and take a photo, but taking a photo booth requires queuing, paying for it, and inviting friends to a certain location. The most special feeling is the excitement of waiting for the photos to be printed,” Thai Ly laughed.

Not only many stores have this model, but many restaurants are also applying it as an effective marketing tool, creating highlights and attracting customers, especially restaurants specializing in selling Korean food.

Ngan Anh (21 years old, living in District 8) said she likes Korean food. Restaurants often have similar tastes and prices, so she will choose one of them if there is a free photo booth.

“I not only came to enjoy the food, but also took advantage of the free photobooth to take pictures. The restaurants were very creative in combining food and entertainment. We could take pictures with many Korean-style ideas and then share them on social media, which was quite interesting,” Ngan Anh said.

Thanh Binh, a regular customer of a Korean restaurant with a free photobooth service in Binh Thanh District, shared: “I chose this type of restaurant because I can take free photos while enjoying delicious food. It makes our meal more interesting and memorable.”

Often going to a photobooth with friends, Vu Ngoc Anh Ngan (21 years old, Binh Thanh district) said that depending on the number of photos to be printed and the number of frames in the photo, the price for each photo shoot ranges from 70,000 - 200,000 VND.

From personal experience, Ngan said that you should choose photobooths that are not too crowded, or go during quiet hours to ensure that the accessories are clean and you have time to comfortably choose photos and shoot videos.

When taking pictures, you can take advantage of the available light in the photobooth to take more photos with your phone or record TikTok to help save many beautiful moments and avoid feeling like you're wasting money.

"You should wear a little more makeup, because the strong light in the photobooth can make light makeup less prominent in the photo," Ngan shared.
