Photobooths – indoor photo booths – are places where young people can unleash their creativity with readily available and unique photo frames and accessories.

The value derived from physical photographs.

Luu Bao Hy (20 years old, residing in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) said that the Korean photography style, with its soft colors and pastel tones, creates a romantic feeling, reminiscent of popular K-pop dramas and songs.

According to Hy, photos printed from a photobooth have a more authentic commemorative value than digital photos. They can be preserved as part of a living space or diary, evoking beautiful memories.

Le Hoang Phuc (21 years old, a student at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) said he often goes to photobooths with his girlfriend every month to take pictures to preserve memories.

"This is a wonderful way to preserve the moments and the growth of love," Phuc said.

Nguyen Thai Ly (21 years old, residing in Binh Thanh District) enjoys taking photos in photobooths because "it gives you a physical photo to hold in your hand." Thai Ly says that nowadays few people print photos, so these physical photos are truly precious.

"Taking photos with a phone is as simple as pointing and snapping a picture, but taking photos at a photobooth requires queuing, paying for the photo, and inviting friends to a specific location. The most exciting part is the suspense while waiting for the photos to print," Thai Ly laughed.

The restaurant is using a photobooth to attract customers.

This model is not only already being adopted by many businesses, but is also being used by many restaurants as an effective marketing tool to create a unique selling point and attract customers, especially those specializing in Korean food.

Ngan Anh (21 years old, living in District 8) shared that she likes Korean food. The restaurants usually have similar flavors and prices, so she'll choose one of them when there's a free photobooth.

“I came not only to enjoy the food, but also to take advantage of the free photobooth. The restaurants were very creative in combining food and entertainment. We could take photos with many Korean-style ideas and share them on social media, which was quite fun,” Ngan Anh said.

Thanh Binh, a regular customer of a Korean restaurant in Binh Thanh District that offers free photobooth services, shared: “I choose this type of restaurant because I get free photos while enjoying delicious food. It makes our meals more fun and memorable.”

Tips for taking great photos instantly

Vũ Ngọc Anh Ngân (21 years old, Bình Thạnh district), who often goes to photobooths with friends, said that depending on the number of photos to be printed and the number of frames in each photo, the price per session ranges from 70,000 to 200,000 VND.

Based on her own experience, Ngan advises choosing photobooths that aren't too crowded, or going during off-peak hours to ensure the props stay clean and to have ample time to select photos and record videos .

When taking photos, you can utilize the available light in the photobooth to take additional photos with your phone or record TikTok videos, helping to capture more beautiful moments and avoid feeling like you've wasted money.

"You should wear slightly heavier makeup, because the strong light in the photobooth can make lighter makeup less noticeable in photos," Ngân shared.
