On November 5th, Military Region 4 continued to mobilize more than 7,000 officers, soldiers, and militia members from units under the Hue City Military Command and Division 968, along with numerous vehicles, divided into multiple mobile teams to wards, communes, schools, medical facilities, and markets... to assist people in cleaning up the environment, collecting waste, disinfecting, and repairing infrastructure.
At Hue University of Education, officers and soldiers of the Hue City Military Command, in coordination with the Dien Chau Volunteer Club ( Nghe An ), repaired hundreds of motorbikes for students that were damaged by flooding.
Hundreds of officers and soldiers from Regiment 6 marched to low-lying areas to assist in cleaning up and collecting waste and mud after the floodwaters receded at An Dong No. 1 Primary School, Dang Van Ngu Secondary School, Xuan Phu Primary School, and Chu Van An Primary School in the center of Hue City.
On the same day, the 968th Division coordinated with local forces to clean up Huong Vinh No. 1 Primary School and participated in transporting relief supplies in Hoa Chau ward, Hue City.

Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, said that he had inspected the area and instructed units of the Military Region to proactively coordinate closely with the government and local forces, and to review areas severely affected by flooding in order to concentrate manpower and resources to support remediation efforts.
Priority will be given to clearing mud and debris, collecting waste, and disinfecting residential areas, schools, and health centers. Simultaneously, efforts will be made to repair and clean equipment, desks, chairs, and classrooms so that students can return to school as soon as possible after the flood-related school closures, ensuring the safety and health of the people after the floods.
