On November 5, Military Region 4 continued to mobilize more than 7,000 officers, soldiers, militiamen from units under the Hue City Military Command and Division 968, along with many vehicles, divided into many mobile teams to go to wards, communes, schools, medical facilities, traditional markets... to support people in cleaning, sanitizing the environment, collecting waste, disinfecting and repairing facilities.
At Hue University of Education, officers and soldiers of the Hue City Military Command coordinated with the Dien Chau Volunteer Club ( Nghe An ) to repair hundreds of motorbikes for students damaged by flooding.
Hundreds of officers and soldiers of Regiment 6 marched to low-lying areas to support cleaning, collecting garbage and mud after the flood receded at An Dong Primary School No. 1, Dang Van Ngu Secondary School, Xuan Phu Primary School, and Chu Van An Primary School in the center of Hue City.
On the same day, Division 968 coordinated with local forces to clean up Huong Vinh Primary School No. 1 and participated in transporting relief goods in Hoa Chau ward, Hue city.

Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, said he had inspected and requested units of the Military Region to proactively coordinate closely with the authorities and local forces, review deeply flooded areas to concentrate human resources and means to support recovery.
Priority will be given to clearing mud, collecting garbage, and disinfecting residential areas, schools, and medical stations. At the same time, help repair and clean equipment, desks, and classrooms so that students can return to school soon after the flood, ensuring the safety and health of people after the flood.
