The inter-agency inspection team on food safety of the province took samples to test kitchen utensils at Phan Thiet Primary School ( Tuyen Quang City).
Accordingly, from April 22nd to May 15th, the inspection team will focus on inspecting collective kitchens and street food vendors throughout the province, examining aspects such as: food safety certificates; commitments to safe food production; documentation of declared standards and product labels for food products; food safety conditions of establishments, equipment, tools, and personnel; food preservation and sample retention procedures, etc.
During the inspection, the inspection team also focused on disseminating information about food safety regulations and knowledge on selecting, preserving, and processing food to production and business establishments. They also commended exemplary cases, publicly disclosed safe food supply chains, and strictly dealt with violating establishments.
Through food safety inspections, the aim is to strengthen the state's responsibility in ensuring food security and safety, thereby promptly detecting, preventing, and handling violations in food production and business.
