Ronaldo changed his attitude on his birthday.

The superstar born in 1985 has returned to training and is expected to play in the early hours of Saturday (February 7th), in the big match against Al-Ittihad.

On his personal page, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a picture of himself training intensely on the field along with a heart emoji in yellow and blue, the two signature colors of Al Nassr. The post appeared on the day the former Real Madrid star turned 41.

Previously, the Portuguese striker was reportedly very angry about the disparity in financial support policies among football clubs run by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Ronaldo has returned to training.

This dissatisfaction reached its peak when Ronaldo refused to play in Al-Nassr's victory over Al-Riyadh earlier this week. This decision completely shocked the Riyadh club's management, as Ronaldo is not only the club's biggest icon but also its leader both professionally and mentally.

The yellow and green team is fiercely chasing Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League standings, trailing the leaders by just one point. With the title race so tight, Al-Nassr understands that they cannot do without Ronaldo if they want to dream of the domestic crown.

In terms of form, Ronaldo continues to demonstrate his fearsome killer instinct. He has scored 18 goals in 22 domestic league appearances, only failing to score in four games – an impressive achievement for any striker, let alone a player who has turned 40.

The root cause of the outrage stems from the mid-season transfer window. Al-Nassr only brought in 21-year-old Haydeer Abdulkareem, while direct competitors like Al-Hilal were given the green light to recruit a host of quality new players, including Karim Benzema from Al Ittihad, Pablo Mari from Fiorentina, and Kader Meite and Saimon Bouabre, at a total cost of tens of millions of pounds. Ronaldo reportedly believes there was clear favoritism, going against the initial commitments to build a team capable of competing for titles.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, all rumors about Ronaldo leaving Al-Nassr for MLS or joining another club at this time are just media hype. The Italian journalist asserts that Ronaldo may be unhappy, but he remains fully focused on winning with Al-Nassr.
