The Portuguese superstar has once again stirred up excitement among fans by hinting at a possible return to Europe, amidst his ambition to reach the milestone of 1,000 career goals.
Despite being 40 years old, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner still maintains an impressive goal-scoring record. His brace for Al-Nassr last weekend brought his career total to 956 goals.

Despite his age limitations, the striker born in 1985 still has no desire to compete, but his future is becoming a big question mark.
Ronaldo has confirmed that the 2026 World Cup will be his last major tournament with the Portuguese national team. His record-breaking contract with Al-Nassr, worth approximately £492 million, will also expire in a year, opening up many possibilities for the final stage of his career.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, where he was honored as "Best Player in the Middle East," Ronaldo drew attention from experts by affirming his desire to continue playing wherever it suits him.
"My passion is still very strong. I want to continue playing football. It doesn't matter whether it's in the Middle East or Europe. I always enjoy football and I will reach the 1,000-goal milestone, as long as I don't get injured," Ronaldo shared on the evening of December 28th.
Having dominated European football pitches, Ronaldo is now in his fourth season playing outside the continent. Nevertheless, his class and experience remain a powerful draw, especially for teams needing a strong, assertive leader in the dressing room.
Throughout his career, Ronaldo had two stints at Manchester United, nine glorious years at Real Madrid, and made significant contributions at Juventus and Sporting Lisbon. Each stop contributed to building the immense legacy of one of the greatest players in the history of world football.
Off the pitch, Ronaldo continues to solidify his status as a global star by investing heavily in Saudi Arabia. He and his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez recently spent around £7 million to acquire two luxury homes on the exclusive island of Nujuma, located in the Red Sea and accessible only by boat or seaplane.
