Ru Cha is located in Thuan Hoa village, Huong Phong commune, about 15 km east of Hue city center (Thua Thien - Hue). The mangrove forest covers an area of about 5.8 hectares. This is one of the remaining mangrove ecosystems in Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon (the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia).

In late autumn, the forest filled with the yellow color of the price trees in the ancient capital makes visitors feel like they are lost in a dreamy fairy tale...
