In the vibrant socio -economic landscape of 2025, agriculture in Dak Lieng stands out as a prominent color, playing a pivotal role in the local development. Under the close leadership of the Party Committee, the decisive management of the Commune People's Committee, and the solidarity of the people and the business community, Dak Lieng commune is transforming day by day, confidently asserting its position.

Surrounded by the gentle Krông Ana River and a part of the picturesque Lắk Lake, nature has generously bestowed fertile alluvial soil upon the Đắk Liêng region. This is the "key" to the local agricultural development, especially rice cultivation. Currently, agricultural production is dominant, accounting for over 73% of the commune's economic activities. With a total cultivated area of ​​over 9,700 hectares in 2025, of which rice accounts for more than 9,300 hectares, these "golden fields" have truly transformed the lives of the local people.

Dak Lieng, with its vast rice fields, possesses a strong advantage that allows the locality to aim towards building a brand for its specialty rice.

Today, the fields of Dak Lieng are a sight of modern machinery, from plows and combine harvesters to high-tech equipment. This transformation not only frees up labor for farmers but also helps save costs, affirming a modern approach to agriculture.

The most significant achievement of Dak Lieng's agriculture in 2025 is the breakthrough in both quantity and quality. With rice production exceeding 75,000 tons, the commune has successfully met the resolution's targets, ensuring food security at a rate of 3,421 kg/person/year. Notably, local farmers have cleverly shifted from traditional farming to high-value commodity production. Mastering the production process and using ST24 and ST25 rice varieties on fertile alluvial soil has affirmed the Dak Lieng rice brand, opening up opportunities to bring local agricultural products to markets within and outside the province.

Party building - the guiding principle for all victories.

Alongside outstanding economic achievements, Party building and strengthening the political system in Dak Lieng are considered the "guiding principles," creating a solid foundation for all local successes. The Dak Lieng Commune Party Committee, established by Decision No. 2620-QD/TU dated June 25, 2025, of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, has quickly streamlined its structure and is operating stably and effectively. Currently, the commune Party Committee has 57 subordinate Party organizations, with a total of 918 Party members, of which female members account for 33.41% and ethnic minority members account for 32.97%.

Leaders of Dak Lieng commune surveyed the Buon Triet dam - a project that provides irrigation water for agricultural production and has great potential for eco-tourism and experiential activities.

The year 2025 marked a significant milestone in Party development work, with the commune Party Committee focusing on decisive leadership and successfully admitting 18 out of 17 new Party members, achieving 106% of the assigned target. These "red seeds" supplemented the local force with young, dynamic cadres. In addition, the commune Party Committee coordinated with the Political Center to open 3 Party awareness classes for 30 individuals and 1 class for new Party members, creating a rich source of successors. The implementation of the electronic Party member handbook for 100% of Party organizations, with 99% of Party members participating, modernized the methods of Party activities, ensuring smooth information updates from the Party Committee to each branch and Party member.

Evaluating the achievements, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Dak Lieng commune, Nguyen Quang Dung, emphasized: “We have always considered Party building as a key task, a strategic ‘lever’ to promote socio-economic development. The achievements we have today stem not only from sound policies, but also from the culmination of the spirit of close contact with the grassroots, closeness to the people, respect for the people, and wholehearted service to the people by the commune's cadres and Party members. When the fighting capacity of each Party branch is enhanced, it becomes a solid foundation for the locality to successfully achieve sustainable development goals, bringing a prosperous and comfortable life to the ethnic people in the commune.”
