Number of room bookings increased
According to online booking sites such as booking.com and agoda.com, during the Lunar New Year, Nha Trang is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. In fact, in recent days, the number of guests booking rooms has increased significantly, especially in the Bai Dai area (Cam Lam district) and hotels and resorts with beautiful locations in Nha Trang City. Mr. Le Dai Hai - General Manager of Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Resort said that the number of guests booking rooms has filled 93% of the resort's rooms, most of whom are individual guests traveling with their families. In addition to Vietnamese guests, there are many Korean and Australian guests coming to relax. Similarly, high-quality resorts such as Alma, The Anam Cam Ranh, Fusion Cam Ranh, Radisson Blu Cam Ranh, Movenpick Cam Ranh have very high room occupancy rates. Similarly, hotels in the center of Nha Trang City and Vinpearl resorts on Hon Tre Island have a high number of room reservations. Hotels such as Sheraton Nha Trang, Adamas Botique, Novotel Nha Trang have booked about 80% of their rooms during Tet; hotels such as Best Western Premier Marvella Nha Trang, Empyrean Nha Trang, Potique Nha Trang have booked about 70% of their rooms... The number of room reservations will continue to increase. Despite the high number of guests, most hotels and resorts in Nha Trang have not increased their accommodation prices. Tourism activities are expected to be very vibrant during the Lunar New Year. Accordingly, the Department of Tourism has issued a document requesting owners of accommodation establishments to strictly comply with regulations on registration, price posting, and selling at the correct listed price; maintain service quality, ensure security and safety conditions for tourists, focus on fire prevention and fighting, and ensure food hygiene and safety. The Department of Tourism also requires hotels, tourist areas and attractions to have plans to divide and guide tourists during peak times, avoiding crowding to ensure service quality.
In particular, in order to demonstrate hospitality and friendliness, enhance communication and promotion, affirm the position of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism as always a safe, quality and attractive tourist destination, the Department of Tourism in coordination with Cam Ranh International Airport, Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited will organize to welcome the first flight from Europe (Poland) to Khanh Hoa on January 29 (the first day of Tet). It is expected that this flight will bring 531 Polish tourists to the land of Agarwood. Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Tourism, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and departments and branches will come to the plane's stairs to welcome tourists to the land of Agarwood, sending tourists the message that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is always friendly and hospitable. The first 30 tourists arriving at Cam Ranh International Airport will receive gifts, flowers and lucky money envelopes from provincial leaders and delegates. In addition, the remaining guests on the flight will receive gifts at the reception area of International Terminal T2 - Cam Ranh International Airport.
