The press festival is about to take place.

(CLO) The Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with the Vietnam Press Museum, organized the "Quang Tri Press Festival" event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Vietnamese revolutionary journalism has entered a proud historical milestone: 100 years. A century marked by heroic chapters, where sharp pens became weapons, truthful voices were a source of strength, and journalists burned with a passion for contributing.

Reporters from media agencies based in Quang Tri province have excellently fulfilled their assigned tasks and have been awarded certificates of commendation by the Provincial People's Committee.

To honor this great journey and express gratitude to the writers and journalists of Quang Tri province, the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association will organize a series of special events, promising to bring meaningful experiences.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Sy, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, said: On April 9, 2025, the following events will be held: firstly, an exhibition titled "100 Years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism and the Pride of Quang Tri Journalism"; secondly, a seminar titled "Journalism Accompanying the Homeland"; and thirdly, an exchange between generations of journalists.

Next, on June 14, 2025, the following events will take place: Meeting and honoring outstanding journalists who have contributed to writing the glorious history of journalism in Quang Tri province; Awarding the 8th Quang Tri Provincial Journalism Prize - 2024; Honoring excellent journalistic works and outstanding contributions of journalists in the past year; Following that is a Gala program to reunite and connect generations of journalists.

Journalist Cai Van Long from the newspaper "Journalist and Public Opinion" was awarded first prize in the writing competition with the theme: "Hai Lang - Pride and Aspiration".

This is a significant political event, marking the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day. The event will be broadcast live on Quang Tri Radio and Television (QRTV) and several other television channels.

The club of resident reporters in Quang Tri province donated gifts to poor students in Dakrong district.

"Quang Tri Press Festival" is a place to strengthen the people's faith in the cause of building the country and their homeland. Quang Tri is a place that has experienced years of fierce war, where countless soldiers and journalists have fallen as martyrs.

The Club of Resident Reporters in Quang Tri Province visited veteran journalists on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.

This event is a particular highlight in the series of activities celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day at the Journalists' Associations and press agencies in the Central region.
