Merging 6 local social insurance agencies.

The Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance agency announced that from October 1st, the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance system will have 33 grassroots social insurance offices, as some previously existing ones will be merged.

Accordingly, six Social Insurance branches in Ho Chi Minh City have been merged. Specifically: Can Gio Social Insurance branch merged with Nha Be Social Insurance branch, taking the new name Nha Be Social Insurance branch (No. 4 Duong Thi Nam Street, Nha Be Commune); Ngai Giao Social Insurance branch merged with Phu My Social Insurance branch, taking the new name Phu My Social Insurance branch (No. 7 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Phu My Ward). The new office is currently under construction, so people and businesses can contact them for business at Lot B-01, Street No. 1, Phu My residential area, Song Vinh Hamlet, Phu My Ward). Long Dien Social Insurance branch merged with Ho Tram Social Insurance branch, taking the new name Dat Do Social Insurance branch (Hiep Hoa Hamlet, Dat Do Commune); Bau Bang Social Insurance branch merged with Dau Tieng Social Insurance branch, taking the new name Dau Tieng Social Insurance branch (No. 1 Tran Phu Street, San Bay Hamlet, Dau Tieng Commune). The Phu Giao branch of the Social Insurance Office merged with the Bac Tan Uyen branch, with the new name being the Bac Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance Office (Street No. 3, Bac Tan Uyen Commune Administrative Center); the Tan Thuan branch of the Social Insurance Office merged with the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Office (No. 5, Nguyen Dong Chi Street, Tan My Ward)... In addition, three branch social insurance offices were split: the Cat Lai branch of the Social Insurance Office was split into the Cat Lai branch of the Social Insurance Office and the Thu Duc branch of the Social Insurance Office; the Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance Office was split into the Tan Uyen branch of the Social Insurance Office and the Binh Duong branch of the Social Insurance Office; and the Tam Thang branch of the Social Insurance Office was split into the Tam Thang branch of the Social Insurance Office and the Ba Ria branch of the Social Insurance Office.

Thus, the social insurance system in Ho Chi Minh City currently has 9 professional departments (Department of Revenue Management and Participant Development; Department of Social Insurance Benefits; Department of Health Insurance Benefits; Department of Planning and Finance; Department of Inspection; Department of Organization and Personnel; Department of Propaganda and Participant Support; Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation; and the Office) and 33 grassroots social insurance offices.
