Sen Do Technology Joint Stock Company has just issued a notice to its partners regarding the cessation of Sendo Farm business operations effective July 10th.
According to the company, the decision was made to optimize resources, enhance competitiveness, and focus on core business areas in the coming period.
From July 1st to July 9th, Sendo Farm announced that it will be running promotional programs and refunding 100% of the remaining value of its membership package to the Farm Wallet. Customers can still use their balance in the Farm Wallet, Sen Club Wallet, and FGold to make purchases until July 9th.
For its partners, Sen Đỏ stated that it will complete commission payments according to schedule and requires them to complete electronic identity verification (eKYC) and link their bank accounts before July 10th to ensure their rights are protected.
Previously, starting in March 2025, Sen Đỏ ceased operating the Sendo e-commerce platform to focus resources on developing Sendo Farm. However, after more than a year, the company has decided to discontinue this model.
Sendo Farm is an online supermarket model that Sendo has been testing since 2021, operating as an integrated application on the Sendo platform. By 2024, this platform had recorded over 1 million customers.

Unlike traditional home delivery models, Sendo Farm operates on a system where customers place orders through the app and pick them up at designated pickup points (Farm Hubs) near their residence. This model allows users to proactively manage their delivery time while optimizing logistics costs, especially for fresh produce with low profit margins.
However, when shifting its focus to Sendo Farm, the business had to compete in a market already dominated by major competitors. In the online food retail sector, supermarket chains like WinMart, GO!, Big C, and MM Mega Market had already developed online sales channels many years prior.
In addition, on-demand delivery platforms like GrabMart and ShopeeFood are also gaining significant market share thanks to their extensive delivery networks and large user base.
