Born in 1990, is Deputy Head of Department

The State Council of Professors has announced the list of candidates proposed by the Council of Professors of all disciplines and interdisciplinary disciplines to be considered for recognition as meeting the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024.

The latest list has 598 remaining candidates (public list) proposed by the Council of Professors of the industry and interdisciplinary sectors to be considered for recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024. Previously, this list had 673 candidates.

Vietnam Aviation Academy in 2024 has only one candidate for Associate Professor. That candidate is Bui Nhat Vuong, majoring in Economics .

According to the signed certificate of recognition of meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor 2024, Dr. Bui Nhat Vuong was born in 1990, hometown Tinh Hoa commune, Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province.

Candidate Bui Nhat Vuong received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2013, majoring in Business Administration at Saigon University.

In 2016, this candidate received a Master's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Business Administration from the University of Finance - Marketing.

In 2020, the candidate received a PhD in Business and Management, majoring in Administration/Management from the National Institute of Development Administration, Thailand.

Regarding his work history, Dr. Bui Nhat Vuong said that from March 2024 to present, he has been Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, Vietnam Aviation Academy.

From November 2022 to March 2024, he was in charge of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, Vietnam Aviation Academy.

From November 2022 to present, he is a member of the Editorial Board of "Journal of Aviation Science and Technology", Vietnam Aviation Academy.

From June 2021 to present, he has been in charge of the Human Resource Management Department, Faculty of Business Administration, Vietnam Aviation Academy.

From June 2020 to June 2021, the candidate is a lecturer at the Faculty of Air Transport, Vietnam Aviation Academy.

And from September 2016 to present, he is also a guest lecturer, Faculty of Management, Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology.

The universities where candidate Bui Nhat Vuong has participated as a guest lecturer are Tay Do University, Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, and University of Finance and Marketing.

The only Associate Professor candidate of the Aviation Academy in 2024 has two research directions: human resource management; customer behavior.

Regarding training and scientific research results, as of June 2024, candidate Bui Nhat Vuong said that he is guiding 4 doctoral students to complete their theses on schedule; has guided 4 graduate students to successfully defend their master's theses and 4 people to obtain master's degrees.

Mr. Bui Nhat Vuong has completed 6 scientific research topics from the grassroots level and above, including 3 project leaders and 3 project members; has published 47 scientific articles/reports, including 29 scientific articles in prestigious international journals.

Number of published books is 1, and there is 1 international book chapter.

The titles and certificates of merit that candidate Bui Nhat Vuong achieved are: Grassroots Emulation Fighter 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023; Outstanding Study Advisor 2021-2022; Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Transport 2021-2022; Certificate of Merit from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Trade Union 2021-2022, Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Aviation Academy Trade Union 2021-2022, 2022-2023; Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Aviation Science and Technology Association 2022-2023.

In the signed document recognizing the qualification for the title of Associate Professor in 2024, candidate Bui Nhat Vuong said that, in his role as head of the Department of Science and Technology (KHCN) and International Cooperation, the candidate has made important contributions to the development of regulations and operating rules of the department; supporting, commenting, and appraising science and technology project topics at all levels. Supporting scientific research activities, organizing international seminars and specialized workshops. The candidate has actively participated in seeking connections with international partners, expanding the educational network between the Vietnam Aviation Academy and universities abroad. In addition, the candidate has participated in the editorial board of the Journal of Aviation Science and Technology as the Head of the Secretariat and a member of the board. In 2023, the Journal was granted an ISSN code. Moreover, the candidate has also actively participated in the process of writing self-assessment reports at the educational institution level. The candidate, together with the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, has successfully completed the tasks of the 2022-2023 school year.

As Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, in charge of the Human Resource Management Department, the candidate has developed a project to open a major and has successfully opened a major in Human Resource Management. The candidate has been in charge of training activities for the Human Resource Management major at the undergraduate level and the Business Administration major at the master's level. The candidate has also actively participated in writing self-assessment reports for the Business Administration training program at the undergraduate and master's levels.
