Ho Chi Minh City architecture students turned old walls into tourist landscape paintings

With skillful hands and artistic thinking, from simple materials and tools, in recent days, more than 20 volunteer students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture have coordinated with Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union " "change new clothes" for old, mossy walls on Le Duan Street, Tuy Hoa City.

Tran Triet Vi (first-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture) said he was present in Tuy Hoa City at the end of July 7 to participate in the school's Green Summer volunteer campaign in Phu Yen.

According to Vi, painting the walls starts from about 14:20 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. every day to avoid hot weather.

“We primed it with a layer of white paint, then used acrylic paint to paint. When finished, we applied a layer of gloss paint to protect the color over time. All drawings are taken as carefully as possible," Vi said.

Dong Thi Thuy Vy (4th year student) added about the work: "We came up with all the ideas and sent them to the Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union for approval and comments before starting to draw. A group of architecture students combined many images of famous tourist destinations in Phu Yen, then integrated them together to create a picture spanning more than 20 wall panels.

Looking at the walls that have just been given a new coat, Ms. Le Hoai Phuc (35 years old, residing in Tuy Hoa City) expressed her excitement when many famous tourist attractions of her homeland were presented in an eye-catching and lively manner.

“It's really beautiful, this could be a new highlight of Tuy Hoa City in the future. I think not only people but also tourists from everywhere will come here to check-in," Ms. Phuc confided.
