Businesses in the service and tourism sectors often prioritize hiring students because of their dynamism, quick adaptability, and flexible working hours. What I like most is being able to manage my time independently and meet many people."
Sharing his thoughts on letting his children work part-time, Mr. Le Phu said: “I don't place too much emphasis on how much money my children earn. What I want is for them to gain more experience. Challenges at work
Besides the benefits, the summer part-time work experience for students also presents many challenges. Le Van Hai shared: "The biggest difficulty for me is having to constantly travel outdoors. Some days, I have to drive continuously for many hours, but other times there are few customers, making my income unstable. In addition, finding my way, ensuring I pick up customers on time, and maintaining a cheerful attitude in all situations creates a lot of pressure. These experiences require me to cultivate patience, communication skills, and proactiveness in life."

Despite certain difficulties and pressures, part-time work has provided students with many valuable lessons about skills, responsibility, and independence. Ms. Nguyen Thi Be, Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Khanh Hoa University, shared: “Choosing to work and gain practical experience is the best way for students to develop their character and understand their own abilities. However, they shouldn't let themselves become so engrossed in work that they become exhausted. Don't be afraid of rejection, and don't be discouraged when facing difficulties. Every experience, whether successful or unsuccessful, is a valuable practical lesson that helps them grow.”
