In Gioi Phien peach blossom village, people have been coming since early morning to visit and choose beautiful peach blossom trees to welcome the Spring. Although it's only mid-December (December 14th in the lunar calendar), more than 300 peach trees, accounting for about 35% of the total number of trees in Duc Hue peach garden (Au Lau ward), have already been pre-ordered by customers. After the buyer selects a beautiful peach tree, the nursery will assist with transportation and planting at their home. Orchids were also chosen and purchased by people quite early on.
The Nhung Rose flower shop in Yen Bai ward had to hire 12 additional staff to meet the demand during the Tet holiday. A pot of phalaenopsis orchids typically costs between 2 and 5 million VND, and can even reach tens of millions of VND depending on the variety, number of plants, and style. Potted kumquat trees are a popular choice for many people, with prices starting from just 100,000 VND.
Gardeners are busy preparing to bring the most beautiful potted flowers and plants to consumers. Tet flowers are in full bloom with a wide variety of types, and prices range from a few tens of thousands of dong per pot, suitable for the needs of many different customer groups. The bustling atmosphere of buying and selling continued until late at night. The vibrant yellow color of the kumquat trees further attracted people to visit and shop.
