On the morning of September 28th, Son Heung-min scored a brace to help Los Angeles FC (LAFC) defeat St. Louis City 3-0 in Round 32 of the MLS.

Son Heung-min is currently at the peak of his form in MLS.

With a brace in LAFC's victory, Son Heung-min extended his scoring streak in MLS to four consecutive games. The South Korean striker has now scored eight goals in just eight matches since joining LAFC last month.

Of those goals, 7 were scored in his last 4 matches, showcasing "Sonny's" explosive form. In addition, the former Tottenham star also provided 2 assists.

Denis Bouanga opened the scoring in the 15th minute, setting the stage for LAFC's impressive performance. LAFC's last 17 goals have been scored by either Son or Bouanga, a feat unprecedented in their history.

With their victory over St. Louis City, LAFC solidified their fourth-place position in the MLS Western Conference standings with 53 points. The club is four points behind league leaders San Diego but has played two fewer games.
