Bao Loc, formerly known as B'lao, is a small, peaceful city located on the Di Linh plateau in Lam Dong province. With its expansive, lush green landscape and mild climate, Bao Loc sits at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level. The terrain is diverse, but mainly consists of hills, mountains, and valleys. In the early morning, the entire city is enveloped in a romantic, poetic mist. February and March are the most beautiful months of the year in Bao Loc, with dry and cool weather.

When visiting Bao Loc, tourists cannot miss the stunning cloud-watching and sunrise-watching spots in the Dai Binh mountain range, such as Linh Quy Phap An and Loc Thanh cloud pass. Each mountain slope boasts unique beauty with various services including homestays, cafes, and camping, making it ideal for trekking, staying overnight, and enjoying panoramic views of Bao Loc city at night and early morning amidst the mystical mist.

Many tourists camp overnight here to be able to chase the clouds early the next morning. If you are already familiar with the above locations, you can chase clouds and watch the sunrise in the Blao Srê valley, about 15km from the center of Bảo Lộc. This valley seems to have retained its pristine wilderness and the beauty of the mountainous region. The rolling tea hills, nestled between the Bảo Lộc pass and Đại Bình mountain, resemble inverted bowls. Therefore, locals often refer to this area collectively as the "Inverted Bowl Hills".

Drifting clouds envelop the tea hills, creating a magical landscape perfect for capturing stunning photographs. Tea cultivation has a long history in Bao Loc. There is a spacious area with ancient traditional houses, known as "Vong Nguyet Tea House," where visitors can enjoy cloud watching and tea drinking, following the traditions of the past.

Furthermore, the pristine and unspoiled beauty of the waterfalls, rivers, and lakes amidst the lush green mountains is also a characteristic of Bao Loc. Tourists can visit: Nam Phuong Lake, Cay Cau Waterfall, Bay Tang Waterfall, Da Ban Stream, Cat Stream, Tao Hong Lake… Especially, watching the sunset in Bao Loc from these locations will be an unforgettable experience. Dambri Waterfall (meaning "waiting") is a legendary waterfall in the B'lao mountains, associated with the legend of the faithful love between a couple. The waterfall is about 60m high and is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam.

While here, don't forget to visit the ancient brocade weaving village of the Chau Ma ethnic group, camp overnight, experience treehouses, gong music, and enjoy traditional rice wine. Bao Loc also has many spiritual sites such as churches and ancient temples that are rich in cultural, religious, and artistic value. You can visit Bao Loc Church, the Holy Mother Church, La Vang Church, B'Do Church... with their blend of Eastern and Western architecture combined with traditional ethnic values.
