According to the Ministry of Transport, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province has unanimously proposed to the Prime Minister to allow the 7,1 km section in Binh Phuoc province to be split into an independent project and implemented in the form of public investment. This is the plan that has been agreed by the relevant localities. According to the Ministry of Transport, separating the section through Binh Phuoc province into an independent project will be more advantageous because it can mobilize resources for local participation, ensure convenience in land clearance, resettlement and proactive supply. provide materials for project implementation; and at the same time improve financial efficiency and investment attractiveness under the PPP method for the section through Binh Duong province.

Regarding the separation of site clearance into an independent project for the section through Binh Duong province, the Ministry of Transport said that the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has sent a document to the Prime Minister proposing to deploy in the form of public investment from the central budget. central government to support Binh Duong province; while the construction part will be implemented by PPP method. Therefore, the Ministry of Transport requested the People's Committee of Binh Duong province to carefully review and complete the project's pre-feasibility study report in accordance with the law on public investment, PPP investment and other regulations. relevant laws, submit them to competent authorities for consideration and decision.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway project has a length of 70km, located in the planning of the highway system connecting with Ho Chi Minh City. This route was born not only to link the region, helping to increase the productivity of goods movement but also to reduce accidents and traffic jams. The project is divided into two sections: the 8,6km-long expressway connecting the Go Dua intersection (Ho Chi Minh City's 2nd belt) to the An Phu intersection (the 3rd ring of Binh Duong province); and the expressway from An Phu intersection to National Highway 14 at Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc). The project is expected to be completed before 2025, with a total investment of about VND 36.000 billion. The investment method applied is BOT (Build - Operate - Transfer) contract. Funds will be mobilized from the state budget (central and local levels), public-private partnership (PPP) investment capital and other capital sources.
