Temporarily suspend eTax Mobile tax application

(NLDO) – Due to the handover of operational data under the new model, the tax authority has temporarily suspended electronic tax payment and the use of the eTax Mobile application.

On March 13, the Tax Department of Region II (formerly the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department) announced that in order to serve the handover of data and operate the information technology system, to meet the requirements of a streamlined organizational model, the tax authority will temporarily suspend the electronic tax payment function on eTax Mobile, and temporarily suspend the processing and return of results of electronic records received from 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17.

During the data handover period, taxpayers can submit documents requesting settlement of administrative procedures via the electronic tax system, by post or directly at the one-stop department of the tax authority.

Tax departments and officials continue to support, process and return results of administrative procedures for taxpayers through manual methods (paper copies).

In particular, the implementation of electronic tax payment and the use of the eTax Mobile application will be temporarily suspended during the implementation of data handover and operation of the information technology system. "The Tax Department of Region II sincerely apologizes to agencies, organizations, and individual taxpayers in Ho Chi Minh City for the inconvenience caused during the implementation of the task," said a representative of the department.

Previously, on March 12, the Tax Department ( Ministry of Finance ) announced the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems to serve the upgrading to meet the restructuring and arrangement of tax agencies. The suspension period is from 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17.

In particular, the electronic invoice system, the electronic information portal for foreign suppliers, the electronic information system of the Tax Department, the tax service practice management system, the electronic information portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce and doing business on digital platforms are still operating normally.
