The World Robot Festival officially opened in Wuhan City, Hubei Province (China), attracting a large number of locals and tourists to visit and experience the event. The event brought together nearly 100 robots with diverse functions and shapes, from pet robots and makeup robots to robot bands and robotic arms capable of calligraphy and serving coffee.

At the festival, attendees were invited to interact directly with robots in various activities simulating future life. Popular activities included playing chess with robots, watching robots perform traditional Chinese musical instruments (specifically the guqin), and having robots apply makeup or serve drinks, creating vivid and engaging experiences. Visitors, especially children and technology enthusiasts, were delighted by the robots' flexible and creative performances.

At the event, Mr. He Zirong, a visitor attending with his son, said: "We've seen robots perform on television during the Lunar New Year. But here, my son can see them firsthand and interact directly. The robot dog is really adorable, running around the exhibition area just like a real pet. It's a very immersive and emotional experience."

Beyond its entertainment value, the World Robot Festival also showcases the latest technological achievements from China's research institutes and high-tech enterprises. A range of intelligent robots developed by units in Hubei were also introduced, including communication robots, medical robots, and automation systems for logistics and services.

Notably, the event also served as a bridge to promote technological cooperation. With nearly 300 enterprises operating in the robotics industry chain, Hubei province has built a complete robotics ecosystem, with the domestic supply of core components reaching 80%.
